To all -

I recently updated and revised a Powerpoint presentation I put together
supporting British economist Fred Harrison's forecast of a coming global
economic "bust" in 2010. This PP is based on research I provided to Fred for
his 2005 book, "Boom Bust: House Prices, Banking and the Depression of
2010."

If you would like to review this presentation or feel you could make use of
it, I am more than happy to send you a copy. Contact me directly, as
attachments are not permitted on this listserv because of the risk of
viruses, etc.

What does the most recent data indicate? My conclusion is that the stresses
created here in the U.S. by dysfunctional land markets, a tax structure that
is heavily weighted in favor of rent-seeking activities, and a national debt
fast approaching $10 trillion are coming to a head. Personal bankruptcies
and home foreclosures are at record highs.
