Dear Community Development Banking,
Eco-Grid (www.eco-grid.org) is a renewable energy
non-profit organization in Hudson, NY. We want to
educate ourselves on creative and low cost financing
opportunities for renewable energy projects.
Specifically, we're interested in options for
district-heating from biomass and solar. In other
words, we're evaluating option for a network of pipes
to deliver hot water to homes and businesses in an
urban area.
One of the key questions is always "how much will it
cost?" and "how much $ will it save the customer?" In
order to determine the answers, we'd like to locate
low and no interest loans, NY State and national
programs and other opportunities.
Advice is welcome.
best,
Matt
