Director, Homeownership Center
A recognized innovator in creating family economic
security opportunities for residents of greater Hartford, Connecticut,
Co-opportunity, Inc. is seeking a dynamic manager to provide
leadership and direction to a growing array of programs aimed at
increasing the assets of low- and moderate-income families.
Responsibilities as follows:
Oversee all aspects of homeownership center. Responsible
for program planning & operations, program outcomes, contract
compliance, staff supervision, community collaborations, & data
management/reporting. Develop new business. Key member of leadership
team.
BA in public administration, finance, community
development or related field; MA preferred. 5 years experience is
responsible management position, including 3 years supervisory
experience. Experience in program development, budgeting and contract
compliance. Knowledge of housing finance, real estate sales and/or
homeownership education preferred. Good verbal and written
communication skills. Experience working with people from a variety of
cultural and economic backgrounds.
