Hello!

Montana Credit Unions for Community Development (MCUCD) is a finalist in
Changemaker's collaborative competiton: "No Private Matter!: Ending Abuse in
Intimate and Family Relations." MCUCD is the charitable arm of the Montana
Credit Union Network, the state credit unions' trade association.
MCUCD, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, works to implement programs through
Montana's credit unions that improve the social and economic well-being of
Montanans.

Winners are decided on May 1 and we need your help. Winners are determined
by the number of votes each initiative receives on the Changemakers.net
website.

Out of 242 entries from 46 countries, MCUCD is recognized for an outstanding
demonstration of innovation, social impact and sustainabilty for a matched
savings program entitled: BSAFE, "Building Security through Assets and
Financial Education." BSAFE helps survivors of domestic violence purchase
assets in Missoula, Montana. BSAFE is a replicable program that seeks to
end the cycle of poverty and abuse by providing asset development solutions
to survivors of domestic violence. For every dollar a participant deposits
in program accounts, BSAFE will provide three match dollars. At the end of
three years, a survivors has the tools and funds to purchase a home,
vehicle, home improvement or vehicle repair, higher education or training,
and small business expansion or start-up.
Survivors of domestic violence save up to $8,000 with the BSAFE Program!

Please help MCUCD build our capacity to help Montana's survivors of domestic
violence. To vote:

1. Go to http://www.changemakers.net/competiton/endabuse.
2. Click on the register link and type in your email address.
3. Select your top three competition entries and submit your vote.
4. Voting ends on April 30 - Act now to support Montana's BSAFE Program.
5. Forward on this email to others that are interested in supporting asset
development solutions or survivors of domestic violence!

Thank you for your time. The top three vote-getters will be awarded $5,000
toward their project! So please support our IDA program for Montana's
