Do you want a meaningful job committed to cooperatives, community development, and economic justice?
NASCO is currently looking to fill four Ann Arbor-based staff positions: Executive Director, Director of Education and Training, Director of Educational Programming, and Director of Property and Development. As an organization, we are evaluating the feasibility of moving the main office to a major metropolitan area in the Midwest.
Who is NASCO?
The North American Students of Cooperation (NASCO) is a bi-national cooperative education organization dedicated to promoting democracy, community and economic justice. Since our founding in 1968, we have worked to increase awareness of cooperatives on North American campuses and communities while building partnerships worldwide. Our programs include a Cooperative Education & Training Institute, Anti-Oppression Action Camp, Emerging Cooperative Leaders Program, and Cooperative Staff & Managers’ Conference. In addition, NASCO provides asset management and development support to group-equity housing cooperatives across the US and Canada. What is the compensation?
The Executive Director position pays a base salary of $36k-48k; fundraising success may merit an increase. Other full-time positions start at $24K. All positions include medical benefits.
