Dear Colleagues:* This announcement is exclusively for entrepreneurship development programs that serve low and very low-income clients in the states and jurisdictions of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.
Are you prepared to grow and increase sustainability?* Are you seeking to improve outcomes and effectiveness?
WEB Consulting Services, with support from the U.S. Small Business Administration presents MicroCatalyst! - a program to help microenterprise development organizations to build capacity, improve performance and outcomes, and increase community support and funding.* Under this program, a select group of MDOs will be selected to receive consulting and technical assistance services for ten months at no cost.
"After Katrina, we needed a plan to move forward and capture new opportunities.* We turned to WEB, and now we're prepared to lead the revitalization of New Orleans' minority small business community."* Phyllis Cassidy, Executive Director, Good Work Network, New Orleans, LA.
WEB Consulting Services is a division of Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, Inc., nationally recognized for building strong businesses that lift up families and communities for 19 years. Our team of consultants represents the leading innovators in the industry- we've built organizations and successfully met the challenges of scale, sustainability, and performance.* WEB Consulting Services is led by Jason Friedman,*former Senior Manager for Training and Education at AEO, and a nationally recognized expert in microenterprise development who has helped dozens of microenterprise organizations improve performance and sustainability.
"We're expanding into New Jersey and need help to identify key markets for our loan products.* With help from WEB, we'll penetrate the market faster and with better results."* - Robert Espaillat, CEO, ACCION New York.
Organizations will be selected through a competitive selection process.* Applications for the program must be received via post marked mail no later than 5 pm Eastern Time on November 10, 2006.
