I am looking for an inexpensive, user friendly project managment software program to use with community development projects.
Anyone have a recommendation?
Thanks,

Here is a link that lists many different software packages.* Having set up and administered several different deployments, my recommendation is Microsoft Project.* The reason for this is clear; a robust program that allows a simple level of tracking while permitting the seamless addition of feature rich management tools as projects and administration require, full integration with MS Office and a variety of database applications, and a wealth of program documentation, help resources, and template examples.* Quite a few programs will meet a most basic need, but leave the management development team stranded when resource allocation and management needs grow beyond the capabilities of the program.

You might want to check
dotProject.net
It is an online program that might work.

Starta Development is a system i recently became familiar with. I think
the software can be fit to be more or less comprehensive based on your
needs.
I don't know how large of an organization you work with (Enterprise
Community Partners is where I became familiar with it), so it may be
more than you need. If this is the case, I strongly reccomend Microsoft
Project instead.

Depending on what you need, the Mortgage*Office software*may be a*fit, since many non-profits (including Habitat for Humanity)
use www.themortgageoffice.com (http://www.themortgageoffice.com)
*
It works well for financing loans and construction projects, and managing investment into particular projects (or simply into the various
loan funds), but may or may not be a match for managing projects prior to funding.
*
Thanks, and good luck.
