Dear friends,
Micro-finance is an admirable phenomenon in that it simultaneously
encourages individual and community development via financial empowerment.
However, as is the case with any widely used method, there are certain
region-specific aspects which require careful observation, sound
recommendation, and subsequent fine-tuning.
As a master’s student of international development, I feel motivated by such
challenges. If you are willing to have a social performance evaluation
completed on one or more of your field programs, I would love to help you
out this summer. No expense on your part is required, but rather this would
serve as a valuable experience for me, both personally and professionally.
FINCA International will co-sponsor the endeavor as well as provide me with
evaluation training at their headquarters in late May.
I am an English and Spanish speaker, but would be open to interning anywhere
in the world.
Please seriously consider this. It is a win/win situation. You may call or
email me for further information.
Sincerely,
David Isaac Stonehill
