The Community Health Center Capital Fund (CHCCF)
assists community health centers throughout Massachusetts in planning and
obtaining financing for building and equipment projects. We also provide
assistance to health centers nationally through Capital Link, another
nonprofit organization, which we manage. Capital Link operates through five
offices including our main office here in Boston and satellite offices in
Illinois, North Carolina, Texas and Washington State. CHCCF and Capital
Link have helped more than 40 health centers nationwide arrange financing
for projects totaling more than $100 million.
CHCCF/Capital Link currently have two positions open-one in our Boston
office and one in our
Cary, North Carolina office, which is located in the Durham / Chapel Hill
area. Both positions carry the title "Capital Development Finance

Capital Development / Finance Specialist
You will participate in the development of an innovative national capital
assistance program for community health centers!
The Community Health Center Capital Fund (CHCCF) is seeking two full-time,
experienced professionals with strong finance, analytical and communications
skills to provide financial consulting and technical assistance to community
health centers nationwide that are undertaking capital projects. These
positions involves working with individual health centers to assist them in
planning and obtaining financing for feasible capital projects and working
with related organizations to improve health center access to capital. One
position is available at CHCCF/Capital Link's Boston, MA office; the other
is available at our Cary, North Carolina office.

organization dedicated to assisting health centers in accessing capital for
building and equipment projects. Founded in 1993, CHCCF worked initially in
Massachusetts to provide extensive technical assistance to health centers
throughout the capital planning and financing process. In 1998, CHCCF
received federal funding to expand its services to assist health centers
nationally through a new initiative called Capital Link. As manager of
Capital Link, CHCCF now manages five offices (in Massachusetts, Illinois,
North Carolina, Texas and Washington) that provide assistance to health
centers across the country.
To qualify, you must have strong financial, analytical and project
management skills; lending and/or consulting experience a plus. Ideal
candidate will have a graduate degree in Business, Finance, Management or
Public Health; credit evaluation skills; nonprofit familiarity; financial
expertise; capital development knowledge and interest in community
development finance and health care.
