The only software that I know of that is specifically targeted to small,
community development-type businesses was developed by a Canadian group
called Trade Works, by a former grad school colleague named Carlos
Gasca. It's called "The MicroBusiness Coach PlanWriter." I have 1998
contact info: kenfast@agt.net , or (403) 947-2464.

Jen,

I am familiar with a Business Information Center which had both Jian
Business Plan Builder and another company's BizPlan (I may have confused
the names) on their computers for client use. The Jian product was the
easier of the two to use, because it did a fairly good job of describing
the purpose of each component of the business plan.

Dear cdb friends

I'm going to forward the original request to two co-operative listservs
(co-opnet and cooperative bus) to see if co-operative business models might
be available - I'm fairly sure that ICOM (the Industrial Common Ownership
Movement in Leeds, England might be helpful.)

Let's see what evolves!

e-hugs

john
