The paper Jason circulated is an excellent resource for those thinking about
a sectoral strategy. Another great resource is a book called Managing the
Double Bottom Line: A Business Planning Guide for Social Enterprises, put
out by Save the Children (Westport, CT). It uses several case studies to
illustrate key concepts; has a great "Lessons Learned" section; and has a
section on sector analysis that expands on what is summarized in this paper.
