I would like to ask your assistance with an important hiring search we are
beginning at WORC. We are seeking an energetic professional to develop and
implement the loan fund operations for existing loan products and to
develop and implement new debt and equity products.

The Women's Opportunities Resource Center (WORC) is a not-for-profit
organization headquartered in Philadelphia that promotes social and
economic self-sufficiency for economically disadvantaged women and their
families. WORC is nationally recognized for its microenterprise and
Individual Development Accounts (also known as the Family Savings Account
Program). WORC recently launched a new direct micro-loan fund through its
subsidiary organization, the Economic Opportunities Fund, to support our
clients and other micro-business owners in need of early stage financing
and related business assistance.

The Women's Opportunities Resource Center seeks a professional with a
strong background in small business finance; familiarity with local
financial, economic development and business assistance communities. S/he
will report to WORC's Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate
will be a mature individual with strong management, financial and
administrative skills. The ability to relate to diverse groups is essential.

JOB TITLE: Loan Fund Manager
REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer

OVERVIEW: The Women's Opportunities Resource Center (WORC) is a
not-for-profit organization headquartered in Philadelphia that promotes

support our clients and other micro-business owners in need of early stage
financing and related business assistance. We are seeking an energetic
professional to develop and implement the loan fund operations for existing
loan products and to develop and implement new debt and equity products.

Responsibilities:

· Manages the Direct Lending Program; analysis, underwriting and approval
of loan requests; fund disbursements, loan monitoring and quality control;
account collecting; asset/liability management; financial planning and
assumptions; periodic reporting on loan program; cash management of loan
funds and monitors lenders' covenants.

· Manages WORC's Loan Guarantee Pool and financing referral programs
including: helping in the completion /preparation of WORC's loan
application and related documents; planning and staffing loan committee
meetings, coordinating, finalizing and presenting loan requests (e.g.:
appropriate terms, rate, collateral, fees, WORC guarantee %) to WORC's
Advisory Council.
· Prepares loan packages.
· Provides access to resources by outside financing, recommends and
develops new loan products for WORC.
· Coordinates the WORC Advisory Council by providing staff support in
preparation of agenda, reports and documents, and in recording the minutes
of each meeting.
· Assists reporting and grant compliance efforts by completing data
collection and creating reports as needed for funders, Advisory Council or
Board of Directors.
· Participate in fundraising and capitalization efforts.
· Performs other related duties as required.
