PRESIDENT AND CEO OF SOUTH SHORE BANK TO SPEAK AT
CEI’S ANNUAL MEETING IN LEWISTON ON FEBRUARY 16, 2000
Coastal Enterprises, Inc. will convene its Annual Meeting at the
Lewiston Ramada Inn on February 16, 2000. Margaret Cheap, President and
Chief Executive Officer of the South Shore Bank of Chicago is the
evening’s featured speaker. The South Shore Bank is an $840 million
commercial bank with a national and international reputation for its
successful and profitable role in providing development banking
services. Ms. Cheap initially joined Shorebank in 1995 to launch
the $15 million National Community Investment Fund, an equity fund
dedicated to investing in community development banks.
CEI’s Annual Meeting begins at 4 p.m. with a reception and
exhibits featuring innovative and successful Maine small and micro
businesses. A Made in Maine dinner and evening program follows at 6
