Alternatives Federal Credit Union, a community development credit union,
is seeking a Program Director for its Microenterprise training and support
program. This is a grant funded program. The successful candidate will
have experience in small business development, counseling, and education,
program administration, a commitment to social and economic justice,
experience with developing business plans, demonstrated ability to work
with low-income and multicultural populations, strong written and oral
communication skills, energy and enthusiasm. A degree in business or
related field, experience with business lending and community outreach is
desired. The position requires flexible work hours. Salary range
$25,600-36,000.
