<x-flowed>Dear Colleagues:
NCRC recently activated the chat room function on its web
page at "www.ncrc.org." We're scheduling a "chat" for Thursday,
February 18, from 2pm to 3pm EST. In order to participate you will
need to point your web browser to http://www.ncrc.org and then click
on the chat room button and sign on at that time.
Thursday's session will focus on legislative issues, with a special
emphasis on HR 10. If you have input on NCRC's position on financial
modernization or any other legislative issue that is
currently being considered, or if you have questions that you would
like to have answered about particular legislative and regulatory
issues please join us. Josh Silver of NCRC's staff and I have
committed to be there
at that time. Other NCRC staff and board members will join us if
their schedule permits them to do so on this short notice.
To accommodate people who can only participate during
evening hours we will schedule a second chat sometime later this month.
We would like those who participate to let NCRC staff know following the
chat if they believe that regularly scheduled sessions on particular
CRA-related legislative or issues would be useful to you.
