Hello Eric Weaver:

Your fall posting asked for refs on barriers to minority access to credit.
Are you still interested? If so, I'd like to begin exchanging info with you
-- though your bibliography is undoubtedly larger than mine by now! Among
other things, I work with a statewide network of minority entrepreneurs
concerned with same.

Hope you are still interested. Looking forward to hearing from you. My
office e-mail address: lewisma9@pilot.msu.edu

Best,

Maryellen and Eric:

While i missed the original posting, I did catch this note. I am doing
research for my thesis on credit constraints facing minority small
business owners seeking loans from banks. Being an economist, I am
interested in measuring the impact of various variables (location of
business, ethnicity of owner, finacial characteristics of the firm , firm
governance, etc.). If it seems appropos for me to enter into this
informational sharing , I would be glad to do so; let me know.
