MICRO CREDIT SUMMIT DATE CHANGED TO FEBRUARY 2-4, 1997
Enthusiasm for the Summit has gained such early momentum that, during the
November Preparatory Meeting, the Summit Organizing Committee recommended
enlarging the scope of the Summit from the previously planned 1500
participants to a possible 3500 or more.
The Secretariat has finalized arrangements with a site that will accommodate
a summit of this size. The Microcredit Summit will now be held February 2-4,
1997 at the Sheraton Washington Hotel in Washington DC.
