Dear All
Bank Rakyat Indonesia will present an International Seminar on BRI Microbanking System which be held on 1 - 3 December 2004 in Bali Indonesia. This exclusive international seminar is aimed to share BRI’s 20-year experience in providing microbanking for economically active poor. More importantly, the event is a part commitment BRI in supporting global campaign on promoting the power of microfinance and the International Year of Microcredit 2005. The seminar will be presence of numerous microfinance experts from all over the world who will explore the future challenges and development of microfinance.
The theme of the Seminar is "20"' Year Anniversary of BRI Microbanking System: Creating Opportunities for the Poor through Innovation'
The Seminar will:
- Examine strategic issues and critical decision points behind the transformation of the BRI Unit system
- Discuss BRI's experiences in developing a framework for sustainable microfinance to meet the complex and dynamic needs of low-income clients.
- Explore the future of microfinance and its role within the mainstream financial industry including issues of innovation as well as the latest development of information and communication technology (ICT).
Seminar Fee
- USD 115 per participant (seminar only)
- USD 200 per participat (seminar + half-day field visit to BRI-Unit)
Accomodation is not included but can be booked by email: ivp_seminar@bri.co.id.
