As a response to "DRizzo2327@aol.com"'s comment about who is interested in
helping the poor get loans in order to improve themselves and their families,
I'd like to be one of the first to be counted as one who is very interested in
helping out.

I have seen and heard first hand of experiences of women who have pulled
themselves up from the bootstraps with a simple loan of less than $100 (in some
cases much less than that) and are now able to feed their family 3 meals a day,
own their own house, and hire help.

I have developed financial projection models that prove to me and others that
given the right amount of loan capital over a certain period of time, a
micro-enterprise loan program can become self-sufficient.

I have added these factors that I have mentioned and decided to make a career
move (from my current 6 year career in public accounting) into specifically this
area, assisting a non-profit organization in Seattle who will help facilitate
these loans and am proud to do it. Even though I'm not the loan officer, I
still feel that my contribution in a financial oversight/promotion role will
assist in the ultimate goal of lending to those who have very little and cannot
obtain credit.

Sure the goal of serving 100 Million families in 10 years may be difficult, but
with the vision of those who will attend and present at the microenterprise
pre-conference, we will certainly make a difference.
