You may want to consider the ABA Community Development Lending
Conference in D.C. in May. Let me know if you didn't see my
earlier mention of the conference (pankel@ABA.Com).

Also, the ABA has developed a "Community Development Lending
School." The first run of that school will occur November 5-9 in
Norman Oklahoma. A 2 day review of loan underwriting is
available before the actual community development lending school
for those who are interested.

The intensive 5 day school will include case studies, site visits
as well as classroom instruction. Topics include small business
underwriting, single and multifamily underwriting, commercial
real estate, risk management, developing partnerships etc....
