Hello to all,

In light of Ed Silver's recent comments concerning a greater
dialogue with commercial bankers and recent notices regarding CDL
conferences, I thought the following note would be appropriate:

The ABA's 1995 National Community Development Lending Conference,
will be held May 15-17 in Washington, D.C. The conference will
explore how partnerships between lenders, government agencies and
local developers and community organizations can result in
successful -- and profitable -- community development lending
projects.

The conference will include such topics as:

* Trends, Roles, and Pricing in Low Income Housing Tax Credit
deals.
* Accessing the single and multifamily secondary markets.
* Small business and multifamily underwriting workshops
* Winning senior management support
* The role of supportive/on site social services
* CRA and HMDA updates
