CDCUs in New Jersey

In case nobody else told you: there are at least a dozen CDCUs in NJ. Two of
the ones I know best are the Camden Community Credit Union (started by the
Latin American Economic Development Assn.) and the New Community Federal
Credit Union in Newark. There are also a bunch of church-based credit unions
in African-American communities throughout the state.

The National Federation of CDCUs can tell you more about this stuff. Their
number is 1-800-437-8711. Please mention that Central Brooklyn Federal
