My name is Mark Malaspina. I am a Student Director of the Housing and
Community Development Clinic at the Yale Law School. On behalf of a
community group in New York City, I have been doing research on CRA and
other fair lending issues.
The community group has devoted a significant amount of time and resources
to challenging a merger involving an extremely large bank in New York
City. The OCC has just issued a final determination in the bank's favor,
and the community group would like to challenge the determination in
court.
Unfortunately, the community group does not have legal assistance.
Although we have provided some legal research assistance, the Clinic at
Yale is unable to handle such a case in court. If *anyone* has any
leads on a lawyer or firm that handles such cases on a pro bono basis, I
