Please advice us if you have any idea on how I can identify the authenticity of a GNMA (bond issued by Federal Reserve) since I would like to purchase it on a bargain price.

I have heard about PTC System and Federal wire system but I don't have the slightest idea on how I can reach it.

Thanks for your help

GNMA's are issued by the General National Mortgage Association. And
Randy's hint to going through a broker is second to none. The GNMA market
is more or less transparent, as a curious look into the Wall Street
Journal or Investor's Daily will show you.
