Position Announcement
ORGANIZATION: The Santa Cruz Community Credit union is an $18,000,000 Asset
Community Development Credit Union serving 6,000 members in Santa Cruz
county since 1978.
TITLE: President, Chief Executive Officer
FUNCTION: This is a contract position reporting directly to and serving at
the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Santa Cruz Community Credit
Union. The primary function of this position is to further the mission of
the Credit Union through providing leadership. This leadership will be
based on policy direction developed by the Board in conjunction with members
and staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Demonstrated effective leadership experience in the following areas:
a) Financial Management
b) Strategic Planning
c) Staff and board training and development
d) Management of financial institution functions
2) Demonstrated commitment to community development.
3) Demonstrated experience managing internal and operational analysis.
4) Ability to develop and implement structural change in order to support
increased effectiveness and growth.
5) Aptitude for team building and management development in an environment
which supports a participatory management style.
6) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualified women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $70,000 per year.
