SENIOR PROGRAM DIRECTOR, LENDING
ENTERPRISE HOUSING FINANCIAL SERVICES (EHFS)
ATLANTA, GEORGIA
SUMMARY: The Senior Program Director will be responsible for real estate
lending for the Southeast region. The Southeast Region includes Florida,
Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, South
Carolina, and North Carolina. Current loan products include predevelopment
loans, acquisition loans, bridge loans and lines of credit. This position
will report directly to the Vice President of Risk Management/Chief Credit
Officer for EHFS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop marketing strategy and lending work plan in conjunction with
EHFS, Enterprise Foundation and ESIC staff for the Southeast region;
· Implement marketing strategy and work plan including achievement of
production goals
· Originate and underwrite EHFS loan transactions;
· Build and develop relationships with borrowers, primarily nonprofit
organizations involved with the development of affordable housing;
* Maintain contact with field representatives of Enterprise Social
Investment Corporation related to mutual lending leads;
· Provide technical assistance and training to local CBOs in the
areas of project financing, deal structuring, and application completion;
· Provide leadership in strategic planning and market analysis around
expansion and/or introduction of new loan products
QUALIFICATIONS
§ Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in finance, planning
or related field preferred
§ Minimum of eight years of real estate lending experience
§ Strong communication and problem solving skills
§ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
§ Ability to balance programmatic needs of local offices and CBOs
with sound underwriting judgment and risk mitigation
§ Demonstrated ability to understand and advance the larger mission
of EHFS and the Foundation
§ Ability to provide training and technical assistance skills
§ Demonstrated leadership initiative
§ Ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time. Most travel
will be within the Southeast region.
