Come gather with cooperative leaders from the region to learn together about
what makes cooperative boards effective in these times and to build
relationships with other cooperatives.
Learn about Strengthening Cooperative Ownership, Roles and Responsibilities
of Cooperative Board Members & Managers, Cooperative Survival in Challenging
Economic Times, Resources for cooperatives and more.
Keynote speaker Curtiss Reed, Jr. has provided organizational development
and cooperative management expertise to a wide variety of cooperative
businesses, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, nonprofit
agencies, and community based organizations, primarily in Africa. The
National Cooperative Business Association, Africare, Inc. and the United
States Peace Corps are among the organizations he has worked with overseas.
Currently, Curtiss is guiding the strategic planning process for the ALANA
Community Organization whose mission is to build more inclusive and
equitable Vermont communities.
