Welcome to the first AEO 2002 Conference Update, brought to you by the AEO Conference staff team.* These updates will provide you with the latest developments and news regarding the Conference.* If you have not already done so, be sure to mark your calendar for May 19-22, 2002 for this event, with the theme, “Microenterprise:* An Ocean of Opportunity.”* The AEO Annual Conference has become the premier microenterprise training event in the nation, and we look forward to seeing all of our members in Florida in May!*
AEO is pleased to announce that the Conference registration rates for AEO members will remain the same from 2001. The advanced registration rate is $450 per person. If more than two staff members are attending from one organization, group discount rates are available starting with the 3rd person.

[b]Notice: The eagerly anticipated AEO 2002 Conference registration brochures are coming soon! The conference information and registration will*also be available on our website at www.microentepriseworks.org (http://www.microentepriseworks.org)
In the Conference registration brochure, you will find information on:
- Renewing your membership or becoming an AEO member (take advantage of great membership discounts);
- Registering for the Pre-Conference Training Institutes (limited seating so register early);
- The 14 training tracks and over 70 confirmed training sessions (to maximize your Conference
experience);
- The Conference Hotel: Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa;
- Getting to Ft. Lauderdale; and, last but not least,
- Things to do in Ft. Lauderdale!
